• Account information: your email address and a securely hashed password, or your name/email if you sign in via Google, GitHub, or Twitter/X.
• Uploaded images: images you upload are processed to perform the action you request (e.g. background removal, resizing). We do not use your images to train AI models, and we do not publish, share, or make your images visible to other users.
• Payment information: when you upgrade to Pro, payment is handled entirely by Razorpay. We do not receive or store your card, UPI, or bank details — we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and its amount.
• Usage data: we track how many free background removals you've used today (to enforce the daily free limit) and your subscription status and expiry.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the image processing features you request.
• To authenticate your account and remember your subscription status.
• To send account-related emails, such as email verification codes.
• To enforce free-tier usage limits and process Pro subscription payments.

3. Image Storage & Retention

Uploaded images are processed to generate your result and are not intentionally retained longer than necessary to complete that processing. We do not sell or share your images with third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third parties to operate ImageStudio, each of which processes limited data on our behalf under their own privacy policies:

• Razorpay — payment processing for Pro subscriptions.
• Google, GitHub, Twitter/X — optional sign-in (OAuth), if you choose to use them.
• Email delivery (SMTP) — for sending verification codes.

5. Your Choices

• You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
• You may use ImageStudio's free tier without creating an account for basic features.

1. The Service

ImageStudio provides browser-based image editing tools: crop, resize, compress, format conversion, and AI-powered background removal. A Free plan and a paid Pro plan are available.

2. Free vs Pro Plans

• The Free plan includes unlimited crop, resize, compress & convert, and 1 AI background removal (one-time), with no login required for basic use.
• The Pro plan raises the AI background-removal limit to 30/month and the compress file-size limit to 50MB, for the duration purchased (1, 3, 6, or 12 months). It's a one-time payment with no auto-renewal — you choose when to renew.
• "Unlimited" AI background removal is subject to fair use — accounts showing automated, bulk, or abusive usage patterns inconsistent with normal individual use may be rate-limited or suspended.

3. Payments & Renewals

• Pro plan payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details.
• Pro plans are for a fixed term and do not auto-renew; you will need to manually purchase a new term when your current one expires.
• If you purchase a new Pro term while an existing one is still active, the new term is added to your remaining time rather than replacing it.

4. Refunds

Payments for Pro plans are generally non-refundable once processed, except where required by applicable law or at our discretion in cases of a demonstrable service failure. To request a refund, contact us with your payment details.

5. Your Content

You retain all rights to images you upload. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process any image you submit — do not upload content that infringes someone else's copyright or rights, or that is illegal to possess or distribute.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ImageStudio to process illegal content, to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or to circumvent usage limits through automated or abusive means.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

ImageStudio is provided "as is." AI-based results (such as background removal) may not always be perfect. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 3 months.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of ImageStudio after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
